About this product
The Maxi Double Wall TPE Roof Vent, 110mm diameter by 270mm high, lets moisture and vapour out from under a flat roof waterproofing membrane. Trapped vapour is what drives blistering and condensation, so a vent like this protects the whole roof, not just the spot it sits on.
The double-wall design is meant for build-ups where a bituminous membrane is laid over insulation boards, giving a secure outlet through both layers. It is moulded in thermoplastic elastomer (TPE, or thermoplastic rubber) and is designed for torch-on installation.
It is compatible with bitumen-polymer membranes (elastomeric, elastoplastomeric and plastomeric), oxidised bitumen, selected cold liquid membranes, two-component cementitious systems and certain polyurethane and epoxy resins. A protection collar is recommended for extra weather protection and to keep the detailing secure.
