About this product
ELASTO PU is a one-component polyurethane mastic for sealing joints and waterproofing common building materials. It is a medium-modulus, thixotropic sealant that cures with atmospheric humidity and stays permanently elastic, with a 25% movement capability.
It grips cement-based materials, brick, ceramic, glass, wood, PVC window frames, galvanised iron, painted sheet iron and most plastics. On the roof it is used for bonding roof tiles, sealing ventilation ducts, sorting cracks at door and window frames and redoing failed baseboard sealing.
There is no shrinkage, it cures bubble-free, and the surface does not stay tacky so it will not pick up dirt. It does not sag, goes on with a hand gun, tools to a smooth finish and can be painted once cured. Colours are white, grey and brown.
