About this product
DESMOFLEX Polyurethane Primer is a transparent, single-component, solvent-based primer made by Thrakon for use under DESMOFLEX liquid waterproofing. It is meant for porous substrates such as concrete, wood and plaster, where it soaks in and gives the membrane something solid to bond to.
It is formulated for quick drying and deep penetration, and it comes ready to use with no thinning needed. Apply it by roller or brush, then get the waterproofing membrane on within one to three hours. That window is strict, so plan the membrane coat around it.
Keep it stored as the data sheet directs, within the stated temperature limits, and it has a shelf life of twelve months. For non-porous surfaces, the range has other primers, so check which one the substrate needs.
